AI Policy

AI tools such as ChatGPT, DeepL and others are partially allowed in the course as long as they are properly cited. It is prohibited to create full paragraphs and text passages with generative AI tools. If you use an AI tool (e.g., for copy editing), you must make it transparent and document its use. To do this, list all AI tools and their use in a directory (list of AI aids) at the end of the work, as in the following example:

Aids/tools used

Type(s) of use

Documentation

Example:

ChatGPT

ChatGPT was used to pre-structure open questions in the sense of a qualitative content analysis

For a description of the analyses, see chapter: “Method”

(Note: this section should contain the chat protocol)

By signing the list of AI aids, you further confirm that you have not used AI for generating full paragraphs or passages of your assignment.
